Tame Impala – Elephant

Every couple of years, you get a thoroughly musical 70’s influenced band, that somehow sound completely fresh, whilst leaning heavily on old school r&b rhythms, and seemingly unstoppable. Think Kings of Leon, White Stripes, The Black Keys, The Strokes…

You can now add Tame Impala to that list. Already a firm favourite of journalists, the bloggersphere and indeed Bryan Ferry. Be ready to see and hear them everywhere in 2013.

Signed to the prolific indie label Modular Recordings, whose track record of finding cross over indie acts is pretty staggering. This performance on Later with Jools Holland fully delivering on all the hype.

Their second album Lonerism is out now.
